The life of every child is greatly enriched when it grows beside its grandparents. Whether maternal or paternal, grandparents are a delicious mix of laughter, stories, love, wisdom, seriousness and good times.
The influence of a grandfather marks the life of a child, but this does not happen only in the field of experiences and the experiential part. The writer Alejandro Jodorowsky explains that the greatest genetic influence of a child is that of his maternal grandmother, transmitting from the physical to gestures, way of being, tastes and temperaments.
There are studies that confirm the above. We know that babies carry half the genetic load of each of the parents, but, according to studies, it is also possible that they do so from the grandmothers. As strange as this may seem, it happens more frequently in the female line.
Jodorowsky says:
Children inherit more of the genetic burden of the maternal grandmother. She can transmit from the physicist to her personality. Perhaps this influence cannot be witnessed from a physical point of view, but the inheritance in the genes is there.
The author of the Psychomagic Manual explains: “the fetus already had the oocytes formed and from these oocytes the two million ovules that it will have during its life are going to come out. One of these ova is named after the baby. So this egg carries the information of the grandmother. ”
In addition, it affirms that the baby not only receives physical characteristics of the grandmother but also possible hereditary diseases, features of the temperament and even experiences that she could have when she got pregnant with her daughter.
All this comes from the woman, either grandmother or mother, but why not the father?
Because the ovules provide the genetic load and the mitochondrial information, and this does not do the sperm. Being this information only inherited by the mother or the grandmothers.
