AOC launches its new screens to play to the maximum: resolution QHD, Freesync and 144 Hz

AOC begins 2020 with, how could it be otherwise, launching a new pair of gaming monitors. It is a curved model and another plane, and the good news is that they have advanced features at a very interesting price.

It seems that, finally, 2020 will be the year in which we will begin to forget the FullHD resolution to play. Yes, for a long time there are both QHD and UHD monitors at competitive prices, but on cheaper monitors with that resolution, features such as response or refreshment had to be sacrificed.

The new AOC monitors of the G2 series have everything we need to enjoy video games at the highest level. These are the Q27G2U and CQ27G2U models, two monitors with almost traced features that differ in that the first is flat and the second curved (1,500R).

The two models have QHD resolution, which translates into 16: 9 format as a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a density of 109 pixels per inch in its 27 inches.

In addition, they have a refresh rate of 144 Hz and are compatible with AMD FreeSYnc technology that eliminates tearing in video games (and also support Xbox consoles and NVidia cards).

If we talk about image quality, we have VA panels (which have improved a lot in recent years) with a native contrast of 3,000: 1 and the following features:

• 90% of the AdobeRGB spectrum
• 120% of the sRGB spectrum
• 85% of the NTSC spectrum

 

On the other hand, AOC has been concerned about cables and, thanks to the four USB 3.0 ports, we can connect the mouse and keyboard directly to the monitor, in addition to charging our mobile with a port that supports fast charging.

The price of the flat model, AOC Q27G2U is 329 Dollars  and that of the curved model, whose launch goes to February, 339 Dollars
